PRACTICE NURSES

Caroline, Katie, Hazel, Jenni, Mary and Maureen

Our practice nurses are available both in the surgery and on the telephone. They can give advice and help on many problems including minor ailments, asthma, diabetes, diet and also baby, adult and travel vaccinations. They perform ear syringing, stitch removal, dressings and treat minor injuries. They also perform routine cervical smears, new patient and well person screening. They may also visit people aged over 75 at home for routine checks. Please make an appointment to see the nurse if you need help.

RECEPTION TEAM

Our reception staff will help you make appointments, check on results, and give out prescriptions. Our Practice Manager runs the administrative side of the practice.

We have a team of secretaries who deal with hospital referral letters, medicals and insurance reports, and diabetic clinic bookings.

Our administration team handle record keeping and information to the Primary Care Trust, and filing clerks support the team in reception.

PRIMARY CARE TEAM

We work very closely with local Health Visitors, Midwives and District Nurses.
