HOW TO ACCESS OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICES

Please only call out of hours if it is an emergency.

When you telephone 01277 212820 you will be put through to the out-of-hours service. This is the responsibility of South West Essex PCT and is run by East of England Trust.

Out-of-hours calls e.g. evening, night and weekends, should only be requested if they are felt to be truly necessary – patients are reminded that out of hours, the deputising service will usually see them. This person does not have access to the patients records, so an appointment at the surgery is the best option if you can wait.
