ANNOUNCEMENT

Dr. J. Tuppen will be leaving the practice from the end of April 2010.

He has enjoyed 21 happy years as a partner at the practice.

He now plans to dedicate more time to his two other medical interests:
Brentwood Community Hospital & Diabetes.

Dr Tuppen’s patients will be allocated to the remaining G.P.s, and (as before) patients will still have a choice as to whom they see.

We are delighted that Dr Pring and Dr Luthra will be joining us permanently, to replace Dr Outen and Dr Tuppen.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO SATURDAY MORNING SURGERY

We have been given notice by the PCT ceasing the existing contract for us offering Saturday morning clinics.

The last clinic will be 25th October 2008 under existing arrangements.

From Saturday 1st November 2008, we will still continue to offer the services listed below. However, the PCT requires us to offer pre-bookable appointments.
Once all the appointments are booked further requests for emergency appointments will be dealt with by the out of hours service.

They will also do any home visits and deal with other emergency queries. If you contact/visit the surgery, we will redirect you accordingly.

Services we will still offer:

• Doors will still open at 9.00am to 12.00noon

• Pre-bookable appointments with Doctor and Nurse 9.00 to 12.00

• Prescriptions/letters can still be collected or dropped off

• Face to face contact with receptionist for other queries e.g. book or cancel future appointments.
