Teaching and Training

Vocational Training Scheme

We are an approved training practice for new GPs and sometimes a fully qualified doctor may spend a year working in the practice with us before joining their own practice. During this year, some consultations are videoed. You will of course be advised of this at the time and a video recording of your consultation will only proceed with your full agreement.

Students

We work in co-operation with some London teaching hospitals and may have students sitting in with us. The receptionist will let you know if a student is in attendance. Please let her know if you would prefer the student to leave during your consultation.

Staff Training

All surgeries in the south west Essex area will be closed for staff training from 13.00 hours, see dates below.

Tuesday 7th November 2017

Tuesday 5th December 2017

Tuesday 6th March 2018

Whilst surgeries are closed, an emergency service will be provided.

If you need urgent medical help during this time call the practice, and the recorded message will allow you to be put through to the GP deputising service; or you can call 111.
