WELCOME TO THE PRACTICE
The practice was founded in 1954 and
has since expanded so that it now
consists of eight doctors serving
nearly 12,000 patients. The practice
area covers a large proportion of
Brentwood (please see the map).
We must limit our area so that we can provide a good standard of service
to all our patients. If you fall
within our practice area we will be
able to register you. If you
subsequently move, you must inform
the practice to enable us to keep
accurate records. If your new
address falls outside the practice
catchment area at that time, you
would be asked to register with
another doctor in the new area.
We previously operated in cramped
conditions, for both patients and
staff, as the practice had outgrown
the building at 2 Avenue Road, but
we moved to a new, custom-built
surgery on the new Warley site in
early October 2006. This offers more
space and better facilities.
VOCATIONAL TRAINING SCHEME
We are an approved training practice
for new GP’s and sometimes a fully
qualified doctor may spend a year
working in the practice with us
before joining their own practice.
During this year, some consultants
are videoed. You will of course be
advised of this at the time and a
video recording of your consultation
will only proceed with your full
agreement.
